Can a blurred image be un-blurred?
Not from the exported file, because the original pixels are discarded rather than hidden. Do use a strong setting on text, though: a light blur on a short string like a phone number can sometimes be reconstructed by brute force.
How do I hide a face in a photo?
Drag a box over the face and pick blur at a high strength, or pixelate for a more obvious 'this was deliberate' look. Then export.
Should I use blur or pixelate for text?
Pixelate at a coarse block size. It removes more information than a mild blur and it's visually clear that something was redacted.
Do my images get uploaded to a server?
