Split a PDF into several files
Break one long PDF into a set of smaller ones: a file every N pages, or a separate file for each page. Everything comes back as a single ZIP so a 60-page split isn't 60 separate downloads. The whole thing runs locally in your browser — the document is never uploaded, so splitting an HR file or a bank statement is safe.
How to split a PDF into multiple files
Load the document
Drop your PDF on the page. Its page count appears once it's parsed.
Choose how to cut it
Pick 'every N pages' and set the size of each chunk, or 'one file per page' to explode the document completely.
Download the ZIP
Press Split. Each part is generated and packed into a ZIP archive that downloads in one go, with parts numbered in order.
What Split PDF can do
Fixed-size chunks
Every 2, 5, 10 pages — whatever the intake process on the other end expects.
One file per page
Explode a document completely when each page has to stand alone.
ZIP in one download
All parts arrive as a single archive, numbered so the order is obvious.
Fully local
The split runs in your tab; no part of the document is transmitted.
Split PDF — frequently asked questions
How do I split a PDF into separate pages?
Choose the 'one file per page' mode and press Split. You'll get a ZIP containing one PDF per page, numbered in order.
Can I split a PDF at specific pages instead?
Yes — several ways. Split by Bookmarks cuts at chapter boundaries, Split by Text starts a new file wherever a keyword appears, and Extract PDF Pages pulls out a single custom range.
Does splitting damage the original PDF?
No. The source file is only read. Every part is written as a new document and the original stays exactly as it was.
Do my PDFs get uploaded to a server?
No. Every tool on Notoo Tools runs as JavaScript and WebAssembly inside your browser tab. There is no server that receives your files — you can disconnect from the network after the page loads and the tool keeps working.
Do I need an account or a subscription?
Neither. There's no sign-up, no email, no free-tier limit and no watermark. Bookmark the tool and it opens straight into the work.
