How do I split a PDF of many invoices into one file per invoice?
Find a phrase that appears once per invoice on its first page — usually 'Invoice No.' or the word 'Invoice' in the header — enter it here, and every matching page starts a new file.
Does this work on scanned documents?
Only if the scan has a text layer from OCR. Matching reads the PDF's text, so a plain image of a page has nothing to search.
What if the phrase appears more than once on a page?
The page still produces exactly one split. Matches are counted per page, not per occurrence.
Do my PDFs get uploaded to a server?
